Because this is my uncensored Beyonce lemonade diet story. The ups. The downs. What stuff didn’t work, and finally the one thing that helped me achieve my goal of successfully completing the full course of the lemonade diet without suffering through it for 2 days only to give up before reaching my weight loss goal.

Since I discovered how to make the fasting lemonade diet ‘doable’, I’m on it twice a year now.

In fact, I’m currently on day 5 of the master cleanse, and I feel great! I have also lost weight and other yucky stuff from my digestive system that I dare not mention. Anyhoo.

This is not a life long diet, but if you need to lose few pounds for a wedding or any special occasion, this is the fastest way to go about it. You can do this diet for 10 days or 40 days. The recipe is no secret.

The HARDEST part of the master cleanse diet is sticking to it.

Ok, ok… I understand that a person does not have to be skinny to be healthy.

But I was overweight and I needed a head start. I suffered from stomach pain and burning mostly, couldn’t sleep well and just hated those extra pounds I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did.

I was sick and tired of it and wanted to do something about it.

I also had a really good reason to want to lose weight — my wedding was coming up, and I so badly wanted to look good!

Now, don’t do what I did and just go home and start gulping the lemonade down. I can tell you from experience, you’ll regret it, and you might not be able to bring yourself to start the on the maple syrup diet ever again!

You need to go through a process of preparing your body PRIOR to starting on the fasting diet.


I had no idea about this when I first started.

I thought, hey it seems easy enough…. Boy, was I wrong!

I had some pretty rough side effects. My joints were, sore and my body ached. I had terrible headaches and some unbelievably strong cravings…
